In the academic year 2013/14, approximately 6,900 international students chose Ireland through Erasmus+ recognised programmes. Our offerings include voluntary work placements, structured internships, a Business English Language School, and a Summer Language School for teenagers. Erasmus+ Application Process

Step 1 – Eligibility Check Confirm that you meet the requirements set by both your home institution and our institution in Ireland. You must be enrolled in a higher education institution that participates in Erasmus+.

Step 2 – Nomination Most applicants are nominated by their home institution. Your Erasmus coordinator will outline the process, requirements, and deadlines.

Step 3 – Application Submission Once nominated, submit your application to your Erasmus office. Typical documents include:

  • Motivation letter

  • Academic transcripts

  • Language certificates (if required)

  • Learning agreement (planned courses in Ireland)

Step 4 – Selection Process Your home institution may select candidates based on academic performance, language ability, and motivation.

Step 5 – Acceptance Confirmation Successful applicants receive a Letter of Acceptance from both institutions. This confirms your placement, study duration, courses, and requirements.

Step 6 – Pre‑Departure Preparation Arrange housing, health insurance, and visa (if required) before leaving for Ireland.
